Volunteers enrich our work at HCH. Let’s think about what kind of volunteer experience you want to have.
Are you a busy individual looking for a one-time or short term (1 to 3 months) volunteer project? From helping our finance team to assisting with group activities, your professional skills can support our efforts. Complete our general volunteer application to start the conversation. Project volunteers must be 18 years or older.

Are you a student, retiree, or have a flexible schedule? Apply here for an ongoing volunteer opportunity where you can make a regular, weekly commitment to our program and our clients. Ongoing volunteers must be 18 years or older and able to make a commitment of at least 6 months.
Are you a school, community or faith group looking for a one-time volunteer opportunity to learn about HCH and give back? Groups participate in activities related to our client support groups, hygiene kit or winter clothes drives, and Homeless Persons’ Lobby Day in Annapolis. Are you a practicing physician licensed in the State of Maryland with medical liability insurance? There may be ways you can help. We are particularly in need of specialists willing to see HCH clients on a limited basis in their private practices. A clinical volunteer application is coming soon.
