Housing takes shape!
If you drive by the corner of Park, Liberty and Fayette, you'll notice some big changes. Construction is officially underway at Sojourner Place at Park, our latest housing project in partnership with Episcopal Housing Corporation.
When completed in 2027, the building will include 42 one-bedroom apartments, with two-thirds reserved for individuals exiting homelessness. Residents will also have access to on-site support from a Health Care for the Homeless case manager.
Moseley's design preserves five of the six historic building facades, helping maintain the unique character of the Five and Dime neighborhood. The development also includes a building that served as Health Care for the Homeless' largest clinic and headquarters for nearly 20 years.
What was once a place where families received care during homelessness is being transformed into a place they can call home.
