What: Between 20% - 40% of youth who experience homelessness identify as LGBTQ+; nearly one in five transgender people have experienced homelessness. Frequently rejected or abused by family, society and service providers of all sorts, people need safe and accepting health care providers like us. That's why we're inviting members of the LGBTQ+ community to join us and celebrate Pride Month in a safe and accepting space. We'll have health education, crafts and community building for clients for all LGBTQ+ identifying people and allies who want to learn how to support the LGBTQ+ community.
