Changes to Centricity Practice Solutions–and what comes next!

06.13.17

We’re always looking for new ways to use Centricity Practice Solutions, our electronic health record (EHR) system, more efficiently. Starting Monday, June 19, updates in Centricity Practice Solutions will help us do just that. For starters, we're launching two updates that allow us to capture data more accurately...

  • Location of Care: When logging in, you'll notice additional options for “Locations of Care” that will list all of our locations. Make sure to select your appropriate location when logging in.
  • Encounter Form: When starting a note for a client encounter, you'll see a revamped “Encounter Form.” This new form is standardized across all note types and is designed to reduce redundancy in data capture, create standardization across all forms and address reporting requirements as we make changes to appointment scheduling.

These changes are just the initial steps in making Centricity Practice Solutions work better for you and also mark our first round of updates to appointment scheduling that we'll continue working on later this year. Keep abreast of the latest by keeping an eye on our Clinical Resources page. For questions, email Ted Ramsey at tramsay@hchmd.org.
