“Living in an apartment is like a godsend," Jimmy says. "I’m beginning to feel more pride in having a place. I’m proud that I’m still here. That I got up. But it’s just a start.”
Along with 11 others, Jimmy recently moved into Sojourner Place at Argyle Avenue, a permanent supportive housing development for individuals experiencing chronic homelessness. It's going to take him a little time to adjust to his new life, but he now has the supportive services and the community to help with that transition.
