World Aids Day 2017

When: Friday, December 1, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Where: 1st-floor lobby/2nd-floor group rooms, 421 Fallsway
What: World Aids Day is an annual opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, show support for individuals living with HIV and remember those who have died from AIDS-related illness.
Staff members are encouraged to wear red to show support for the fight against HIV.
Event schedule:
11:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.: Flu shots and HIV education materials will be available in the lobby. Clients and staff will have the oppotunity to hang ornaments on the Remembrance Tree to honor loved ones who have passed away due to AIDS-related illness.
12:15-1 p.m.: Lunch and guest speaker
1-1:30 p.m.: Q+A
