Celebrating "Our Work" on May 19

04.25.16

We'd like to share what some of our client artists have been up to this spring—and invite you to see their extraordinary creations in person.

  • Anthony has been painting colorful abstract pieces in honor of friends he has lost to drug overdoses—while also dabbling in ink and charcoal pencil.
  • Teresa has a variety of pieces in the works, including a 3-D mobile featuring her own original photography.
  • Sheila has been painting scenery and nature images that draw on both her imagination and daily experiences; Sylvia has been making beautifully crocheted blankets for her friends.
  • And inspired by magazines and everyday life, Kelvin continues to paint exquisite portraits of men, women and animals using primarily acrylics, while also doing pen drawings of familiar figures, such as Elvis and Marilyn Monroe.

Joined by many others, Anthony, Teresa, Sheila, Sylvia and Kelvin come together regularly in the art room of our downtown clinic with therapist Lisa Muscato to share their experiences and talents—and create beauty.

Please join us in celebrating the work of all of our Health Care for the Homeless artists:
