The Unheard Voices

04.04.16

On Saturday, April 9, 4-6 p.m., eight individuals will share their stories of homelessness at The Unheard Voices, a monologue event hosted by Baltimore's Faces of Homelessness Speakers' Bureau and MICA CREATE (Community-Related Experiences in Art Through Engagement). The event aims to connect the community to homelessness and poverty in a meaningful way—and to challenge the entrenched ideas and indifference many community members hold by putting them in touch with those who have experienced homelessness firsthand. Saturday, April 9, 4-6 p.m., MICA—Leake Lecture Hall, 120 McMechen St., Baltimore, MD 21217.
